Celebrating a new continent with Detal, Australian producer releasing his second Ep after Wanderlust in late 2012. Detal has joined Soigne Tes Oreilles to release Melancholy, a 6 track EP featuring 3 remixes by Gauvin, Plan4 and Tmrw.

The concept for the Melancholy EP came with the desire to express a renowned emotion through music. This depth of emotion resonates throughout the EP and is captured in each of the 6 ambient-electronic themed productions. Dreams of Dreams is the musical analogy of a dream, presenting the listener with a hazy minor-chord sequence and crisp drums. The EP's title track Melancholy portrays emotion through a lachrymose piano melody and oriental string progression. Finally, IMPERIVL rounds off the original compositions with an engaging synthesizer line that leaves the listener wanting more.... And to no surprise, the remixes produced by Gauvin, Plan4 and TMRW deliver, giving a completely new angle and feel to the original tracks.
