We're back with the new release of Gauvin's second EP, "When The Sky Turns Black".

After a long break, the label is back in action with the new EP from Gauvin. After his first EP released in late 2013, the French producer returns after two years with sharpened turntables and refined productions.

"When The Sky Turns Black" was recorded last summer and tells of Gauvin's adventures during those months. Sampling the sounds of everyday life, the rhythmic and ambient tones recorded from his apartment, kitchen, by the window or in the metro, tell the story of a summer blocked between Nantes and Paris. The titles of the tracks have a direct relationship with the time and place they were written and give the sensation that one is there themselves.

Finally, three producers of choice from the label created remixes to add the finishing touches to Gauvin's work. The artists challenged were Ryuei Kotoge, Kae Uh & Sunareht.

Released exclusively on Bandcamp on May 25th.

Après un long break, le label reprend du service avec le nouvel EP de Gauvin. Après son premier EP sorti fin 2013, le producteur français revient deux ans après avoir aiguisé ses platines et affiné ses productions.

When The Sky Turns Black a été enregistré l’été dernier et nous raconte les aventures de Gauvin durant l’été dernier. A travers un gros travail sur le sampling des sonorités de son quotidien, les rythmiques et les sons d’ambiance enregistrés à partir de sa cuisine, son salon, par sa fenêtre ou encore dans le metro, c’est l’histoire d’un été bloqué entre Nantes et Paris sous la pluie. Les titres des tracks ont un rapport direct avec le moment ou ils ont été écrits, avec les sensations et les gens qui été présents à ce moment la.
Finalement, l’ajout de 3 producteurs de choix du label pour la création des remix, donne la touche finale avec le défi pour Ryuei Kotoge, Kae Uh & Sunareht de remixer un des tracks ambient de l’EP.
